Q. Do you offer a diploma/graduation program?

A. From the information on our site, you can provide your children with a well-rounded homeschool program and/or diploma. This is all included in the $15.95-per-year subscription rate.

The lessons and activities we provide are based upon national curriculum guidelines. You may use any, or all, of the lessons to supplement your family's flexible, natural-learning style. Or, you may use them for your homeschool program in a more structured style, if you choose.

We do not provide a diploma or program from a specific school. Rather, the homeschool program and/or diploma can be issued from YOUR school. (Brainstorm with your children to give your homeschool a name that means something special to your family!)

For a diploma example, high-school transcripts, report cards, daily/weekly planner sheets, reading logs, etc., see our Homeschool Forms page. These assist you in recording, tracking, and organizing your homeschool.

For weekly lessons and learning activities, see our Grades K-12 Lessons, Daily Activities, Curriculum Guidelines, Hands-On Activities, Unit Studies, Field Trips, Reading Suggestions, and Worksheets.

For additional information and help, read the Homeschool Articles, Unschooling Articles, Homeschool News, Homeschool Groups, Message Board, and other helpful links we provide.

Q. How do I know when each new issue is available online?

The September issue will be available the first week of September. The October issue, the first week of October, etc.

Q. Do you focus on a particular style of homeschooling?

A. No. We use the term "homeschooling" to include all forms of "learning at home." This can include homeschooling, unschooling, faith-based education, secular education, natural learning, self-directed learning, curriculum-based learning, cyber-learning, online learning, etc.

Our mission is to provide weekly and monthly lesson plan ideas, learning activity ideas, "homeschool" help, and other "homeschool" information to make your experience as smooth, easy, and affordable as possible. We especially strive to help busy families, working parents, single parents, and all parents and families who have an interest in the education and future of their children.

Whatever your style of "homeschooling," you may take from our magazine whatever is most helpful and beneficial to you and your family. You may use our lesson ideas and learning activities to supplement your daily activities. Or you may use them as your daily "homeschool" curriculum.

If you desire a more structured homeschool environment, we are here to help you. If you prefer a more flexible, eclectic style, we provide plenty of material for you. If you prefer unschooling, we provide fun, hands-on activities, virtual field trips, and other learning ideas for you.

If you want to create your own curriculum -- keep your own records and high-school transcripts -- issue your own diploma and hold your own graduation celebration -- we are here to help you with that, too. We do not exclude anyone. We welcome everyone!

Q. Do you publish the magazine over the summer months, too?

A. Yes, we continue to publish the magazine each month over the summer, with new articles, information, and ideas. We also continue to feature learning activities and fun educational projects throughout the summer months.

For instance, our July issue includes articles on "unschooling" over the summer, homeschooling (having fun!) "year-round", how to teach several children, mnemonics and learning, summer-reading lists, summer fun ideas, business opportunities for stay-at-home parents, and much more!

Check back at the beginning of each month for new articles, information, and learning activities. And let your friends and homeschool groups know that we'll be here all summer long, too!

Q. Do you accept advertisements?

A. Yes. Due to the high interest in finding resources via our site -- and due to inquiries from homeschool suppliers -- we now include Classified Ads in each online issue. Each Classified Ad may contain up to 75 words, at a cost of $10 per ad, per month.

Save 6% by running your ad in 3 consecutive issues: just $28.00 for 3 consecutive ad insertions. Save 10% by running your ad in 6 consecutive issues: just $54 for 6 ad insertions. Save 15% by running your ad in 12 consecutive issues: just $102 for an entire year of ads -- 12 consecutive ad insertions.

The benefits of advertising in our online magazine include affordability, exposure, and the ability to take visitors directly to your Web site or shopping cart today. For examples of current ads, see our "Ads & Resources" page.

We receive 4,000 to 7,000 visits per day, or about 100,000 to 200,000 visits per month.
